Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park Picnic site #8
From the traffic circle at 87 Avenue and 142 Street, drive down Buena Vista Road.
At the bottom of Buena Vista Road:
At this traffic circle, take the second exit so you are going in the same direction as before. Almost immediately, turn right into the small parking lot. Walk diagonally across the open area to picnic site #8 (the one with a roof).
If the parking lot is full, return to the traffic circle and take the third exit.
Either find another place to park and then walk to Picnic site #8
OR drive counter-clockwise (it’s one way) round Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park Road until you come to Picnic site #8.
WARNING: You CANNOT get there going clockwise – you would pass some ‘boat trailer only’ parking spots, then come to a WRONG WAY sign.
ETS: Route 2 from downtown or West Edmonton Mall. 15min frequency during rush hour; 30 min. thereafter. Alight at 87Ave/ 142 Street traffic circle. 2km walk downhill.
