Dalmuir 1:10,000 2.5m contours. This area is
embargoed for three weeks prior to the event.
Sandy pine forest with some deadfall. All of course 1 & 2 and
the first half of all other courses are in an area not used by ATVs. |

From
North Edmonton: take Hwy 28 north from the city.
Take the
Redwater turn-off.
After the initial bend, drive dead straight
(=due east) for approx 14.5 km to RR204. (Road surface changes from
asphalt to gravel; road # changes twice, ending up as Twp 574!) JUST DRIVE IN A STRAIGHT
LINE.
At RR204, turn south/right. The
registration/start area is at the end of this dead end road - about
1.5km.
Alternate
route from the south and east side of Edmonton: take Hwys 21
and/or 15 past Fort Saskatchewan to Secondary Highway 830 (sign posted
Vinca Bridge). Turn north (left) onto SH 830. At the end of
SH 830, turn west (left) onto Hwy 38 and cross Vinca Bridge over the
North Saskatchewan River. Approximately 2 km after crossing the
bridge turn right (east) onto Victoria Trail. A little more than
4km down the graveled Victoria Trail, turn left/north onto RR205. At the
end of RR205 at the T junction, turn right/east onto Twp 574. Go
1.6km east, then turn right/south down RR204. The
registration/start area is at the end of this dead end road - about
1.5km.
